holy moly ball joints are easy to do *1st timer*
rookie mechanic...
ive done 3" lift, front brakes, alternator, starter, rear wiper motor, oil changes, tow hooks, stuff like that...
ball joints LOOKED easy enough, but i always manage to take twice as long as suggested somehow
not so with balljoints...awesome
only did the one side that was bad, used local parts store parts, i need the jeep tmmw, the other side is on way from internet at cheaper prices, do it later
only used crappy bj press too....http://www.princessauto.com/pal/sku/8354714 canadian version of harbor freight...on sale for $40.
so if youre hesitant, go for it.

there was a review from a dude with a tj on the site, if it worked for a tj, should work for xj...and it did....was nice that it was $60 off at the time.

Indeed, I think I bought it when it was 40 bucks. Since the surface where you press the top ball-joint in is angled I had to grind one of the cups angled a bit. No big deal, I'll probably only ever own Jeeps anyways lol.
