I'm glad this thread has turned into sort of a catch all A/C thread. (No sarcasm.)

It's kind of turned into an "Ask a question" thread, but for A/C only. Keep the questions and answers coming, because I'm actually learning something here.

 

I ended up getting my AC system recharged. They think there might be a slow leak and put some dye in. Working great now though.

 

Your thread sprouted legs. It would be ashamed if you had to unsubscribe from your own thread. lol. Next time call it "My AC Thread".

Let me add the following important information:

DO NOT RECHARGE VIA THE HIGH SIDE SERVICE PORT!!

Charge only through the low side service port.

 

That was another question I had! Next step is to go find a UV flashlight to trace the leak.
