Default Alternator part numbers..

Been trying to find a 136 amp alternator for my XJ, but no luck so far.

I did find one from a 98 grand cherokee 5.2L. Part # 56027912 But I cant seem to find what it is exactly.. Some places list it as 90, 117, and 130 amps..

Anyone know "for sure" what it is? I dont wanna waste my money lol

it will be the V8 alt that you want, go to any part store and request the 136 amp alt for a 5.2 v8 grand.

your bracket will require a little modification

I tried that tonight. No parts stores in town list a 136A. Biggest one being a 120A which is 250$..

So the used one I found is definetly a 117 amp alternator. And only $50. Am I gonna see much difference with the 117 over a stock 90 amp?
