Default after market seats...

Anyone know what brand of seats these are? http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=962578

Also anyone know of any writeups on how to mount these in an XJ? I can't post on that naxja thread since I am now a paying member so I didn't know if anyone here had any info..

Sparco I think. You interested in changing your stock seats for some like those?

The above came directly from the linked thread. Pretty sure that they are the same ones pictured here. Not to shabby of a price either.

I shoulda read the thread but just looked at the pic to see if I recognized them. They still look like the Sparco ones as to shape and safety belt openings.

By the way, the one I linked to is the slightly more expensive version, as the other ones are just the plastic shell that you still have to buy the padded covers for.

I almost bought a set of J/Y seats from a Subaru WRX over the weekend, but the guy wouldn't come down off his $200 price tag. Super comfy seats that would mount up to the stock sliders with minimal fab work and work with my 2 door as well. Maybe you could find something decent in the J/Y.....

If those WRX seats were in good shape and that easy to fab up a mount then that sounds like a decent price for the pair.

They were "decent" but still needed some minor upholstery (read: small tear and a cig burn) work which is why I was trying to get them down to $150 for the pair. I'll hold out for either a better deal or an excellent condition set.

I guess my main question is has anyone seen a write up for installing these or similar aftermarket seats in an XJ?
