91JeepMan, from right here here has a neat trick. Seems he's using the edge of the pan to pry/wiggle against, to get it off the shaft. I didn't see that in the NSS rebuild links above. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/cf...sh-how-182998/

I had trouble getting mine off so i pulled one off my parts tranny, cleaned it up, set it to park, and plugged it into the harness. Works great. Its tied up out of the way behind washer reservoir. Ive actually used it to start a buddies xj when his went bad out on the trail.
Anyone see any issues with this besides no reverse lights?
