Default Advice needed - oil filter nipple

Going to install a new oil filter nipple as the threads on the old one are a little boogerd up. Any advice on removing the old one and installing the new one will be appreciated. Should I use Locktite red on the new one?

i was at the jy today and took a picture of how yours is attached,it is the same as mine exsept yours has a torx style bolt instead of a normal bolt, see pic.
It maybe possible to get yours out in the jeep if you can get a socket on it,mine was just to hard to remove that is why I took it out.
