Great! Start looking and I will make it worth your while! At least what Amazon charges for a new one about $32 ( See attached) plus the 2 day shipping. I just checked on Amazon and a model 2000 will fit. I'm at syrinx7@msn.com
Thanks

Well got looking for it and was unable to find so maybe I thrown it away (although I remeber wanting to keep since it was copper). I'll look again when I get al the interior from jeep out of building as right now everything is just thrown in but it may take up to a week as seems like I get 2 steps forward and 1 step back doing my pans.

Thanks for the effort! I know how it is; sometimes I'm conflicted too, should I throw this out or keep it? Later, did I throw it out....ummmm? Anyway, I hope you can find it.
If I have a custom one made from the older thicker copper one, it will serve as a mold for all other future 99 and 2000 Xj Jeepers to buy from "Brassworks" at a far cheaper price. They will have already made one. Good Luck! Thanks again!

Wow thanks...I looked and looked, even at the site you provided-but I missed it somehow? I checked, it does fit a '99 and Yes they said they have 59 in stock? I ordered immediately! Thanks again!

I've heard that mixing metals like copper and brass with aluminum can cause the metals to corrode each other. At least that's what a mechanic told me at an MIG dealer.
I guess it depends on whether your A/C lines and your heater core pipes are the same metals, not too sure though that's what I heard. Correct me if I'm wrong by the way.

That is part of why making sure your coolant is fresh is important.
Antifreeze has anti-corrosion properties. The newer style coolants are apparently LESS compatible with copper - so I would recommend just running regular antifreeze and changing it every 3 years.
Actually - the Valvoline MaxLife antifreeze says it is more corrosion resistant than standard coolants (something about silicates). Not a chemical engineer so this is just a rough guess...

Let us know how it turns out!
Would be vastly preferable to the Spectra style heater cores, plus the price is right!
I used some weather sealing tape to get a tighter fit around the core in the HVAC box, and to seal the edges to prevent air from bypassing it too easily. I also used some mold remover (tilex or something) to clean the crap out of the HVAC box. My styrofoam drip tray was full of mold so I tossed it out. No major ill effects yet and got rid of the musty smell in my HVAC
