my 99 will have a slight shake when pulling up to a stop or red light

wierd thing is that when sitting at the light is will shake...if i roll forward maybe a foot or so....it stops

any idea what it could be?

i thought at first it was the transmission was just cold..b/c it does it so infrequent

but it did it again the other day..

any ideas

Do you have a tachometer in your Jeep? Do the RPM's fluctuate or drop when it shakes?

yes i do...but it dont move...maybe 50 rpms or so

Clean idle air controller and throttle body to start with.

done and done...

like i said it doesnt happen when the jeep is warm....only when its below running temp

the only thing i can think of is the trans mount maybe...motor mounts are good

lol mine does this. I got it for an auto auction and it didnt run. Got it to run, and a year and 15k miles later.. either it doesnt do it as much if at all or I just dont notice it as much.

I think my idle air controller needs adjusting. As I uncrewed all the way on accident cleaning it and just thought if i screwed it back in it would be fine.

no cel...nothing...runs like a top. Never had a light come on either

i replaced my upper 02 sensor this fall just for mpg...

this must be one of those "jeep things" that i wont understand
