98 XJ left blinker turns on flashers.
So I have a 1998 jeep Cherokee classic 4.0 and whenever I turn on my left blinker, my hazard lights will start flashing. When i turn on my right signal it works perfectly. Please help!

Bad ground to one of the blinkers will cause this too. I had a bad ground on my right rear, the left would blink by itself, but the right would blink both sides.

I have a '93 Cherokee and am having similar issues. Left signal works fine. When I turn on the right signal, everything in the back flashes, in the front only the left flashes and the interior lights flash. I replaced the turn signal switch but still same issue. Please help!

Bump and update. I replaced the turn signal switch, cleaned up a badly rusted ground wore for the turn signal wiring, and connected a loose ground I found coming from behind the headlight switch. Going to try and replace the relay today.
