will it go right on? i know someone said the pre 97 bolt right on to the 97+ but will everything line up right with the different flares? A picture of a jeep with this done would be awesome if anyone had one. THANKS

 

What did you find out?

 

Gave up on it after about a week, however i have seen it done. Should just swap right over if you use the 97+ front bumper, not sure of how the flares will mount up, never owned a 97+ xj or even worked on one that doesnt have cut fenders so i'm not sure on that. Rear bumpercaps will require the mounting brackets to hold them on, or something else to hold them on.

 

I just removed my rear endcaps from my 98' thinking about putting pre 97' end caps on. My Jeep was rust free until I pulled the end caps, next thing you know I have a huge hole in my 1/4 panel.

 

Sounds like its comp cut time then!
