Default 96 xj not reaching temp

Hey name is manny I own a 96 xj owned it for about 6 months 3 weeks ago changed the radiator with 2 core new hoses and 195 thermostat. Jeep doesn't reach operating temp (210). Any ideas? Ill post a picture of where it normally sits at and it goes a little above that for a little then right back but never 210.

What's the operating temp now? Are the top and bottom radiator hoses hot when oper temp reach maximum?

If the temp are 190 -200 you are fine. Pretty normal.

The first thing you would want to do is verify the temp with an IR thermometer on the t-stat housing. If that is the correct I wouldn't worry to much about it you are pretty close to normal operating temp.

Yea I know before only when I would wheel it would go over 210 the radiator in there before was shot! And a 1 core looked like a factory 1 core.

R ambient temps cool/cold?......running the heater? If yes to both, perfectly normal to run a little below t-stat temp. If no, suspect an inaccurate gauge reading.

Your temp gauge is meant more for reference not so.much accuracy. The 195 tstat opens a little around.180 ish iirc, 195 is wao (wide *** open) . So in all reality your probably right adound 180s, which is ok, seeing as the ot is 200 210 range. As long as it isnt at like 150 i wouldnt worry
