Default 94 head on a 88 4.0

is it worth the time putting a 94 head with intake and exhaust on a 88 4.0 motor . and what kind of problems will there be. i know the head has better fow, but will the renix work will with that set up

It will work. Not worth it on it's own.

what do you recommend adding to the head replacement to make it worth it ?

If there's nothing wrong with the 88 head, I wouldn't even bother with the HO head. What are you wanting to accomplish?

want to do a few up grades to increase the performance a little. any ideas.

Yes. I have ideas. The 94 head would not be high on my list though.

ok, where do i start. dose replacing the injectors with the 703s help out. or should i stay with the stock.

Replacing the stock Renix injectors is always a good idea. Not gonna net you much, if any, power though. But that's okay. The later model injectors will smooth out the idle, help throttle response, and they don't leak externalloy and burn your Jeep to the ground like the stockers. Contact Programbo here on CF to get a set of reconditioned ones.

Is your exhaust system all rusty? Live in a rust-belt state?
