Default Body differences, mainly fenders

Hey guys- I tried searching but no luck finding anything. I am looking at some aftermarket fenders for a 99 XJ, but really love the style of an "up to 96" model. Could those be made to fit mine? Wondering what the differences are, thanks!!

They bolt right up as long as you swap header panels too.

thanks man, was thinking something like that. If I did that I would have the front end of an older one though. Hmmm decisions. I like the front grille and such on mine now

Ahhh fiberglass prerunner fenders. I'd recommend emailing them and asking what it takes to fit on your 99. Honestly there shouldnt be a difference in them really.. Just very minor details. And you can bolt up early model fenders with a late model header.. body lines just wont be quite as smooth from the pictures i've seen, however it's nothing very noticeable.

I actually am in the middle of swapping my front end to a 97+. Already did the header panel, looking for fenders now.

The only difference is about a 1/2" gap and the top corners are rounded on the newer ones.
