I have been having an issue with my 93 XJ. It kept stalling out, so I decided to clean the throttle body. That fixed it for a while, but now when my jeep idles it stalls. Only sometimes though. Does anyone think it could be the Idle Air control?

Idle air control definitely suspect. So is the throttle position sensor.
Also know that a marginal battery can result in "stalling" symptoms; it is very common.

Okay, no dice. It keeps stalling. At 55 MPH, it will just loose power, stall and backfire. Then it just keeps stalling anytime I get it out of 2nd gear. I'm desperate. I had to have it trailered home
