Hey guys, new to the forum, I have a 93 cherokee with a rusting out rear floor pan that I need to replace. I was wondering if there was a difference between the rear floor pans from different model years? I found the 00-01 pans for about $100 less than the price on the 93-96 ones and the illustrations for the pan look almost identical for every year.. any thoughts?

 

there has been very little change to the xjs over the years,I doubt they would be different,but if it was me I would ask the folks selling them,they would know for sure,I hope.
Are these panels being offered by different companies? I would be interested in knowing the huge difference in price,I cannot imagine to many companies having the dies to make them.

 

The only site I've found with the rear floor pans is jeepoemparts.com. Seems like the older the year you're looking for the more the part costs lol. The floor pans look identical in the diagrams from 93-01, but 00-01 is $83, 99 is like $93, etc etc down to 93-96 which is $182.. 97 and up all actually use the same exact diagram pictures.. lol.

 

a couple site I've seen actually use the same pics for slight variations in design.
they want you to see a pic, but as long as you get a general idea of what you're getting, they figure it's O.K. it saves them the trouble to take more pics.
