if you have youre old distributor. my engine came out of a 94 grand cherokee and the distributors between my 93 engine and 94 engine were different on the inside. so did you compare the fuel rails and throttle bodies? im not sure what changes where made to the engine between the years but they did tweak little things here and there.

and the other pry dumb question have you looked through all your fuses and relays?

 

Just swap it as a longblock and you'll be fine.
