Default 90 RENIX ignition switch question

Every reference I can find (shop manual, motor all data, etc) shows the ACC position being past the LOCK position (as in counterclockwise) but, I've never been able to turn my key that direction. On mine, the ACC position seems to be between LOCK and ON although, nothing works in that position.

I want to install a new switch because my starter and NSS are new (and passed all tests) and my relay passed all it's tests but, I'm still getting an intermittent no start issue. I have discovered that if I turn the switch very slowly and gently, it'll start right away most times which is what leads me to believe the ignition switch is messed up. Any ideas?

It's been a long time since I change one but I think the key part might be hanging up or out of time with the rod in side the steering column, acc. Is counterclockwise passed off

Install a new switch and adjust it properly and I'll bet you'll be just fine.

I had a feeling it was just mine being a turd. I've got the new switch now but, the trick will be finding the time to do it and the right weather.........no garage.
