Actually I think his wife baked the valve cover for him in the oven. (nothing on the oven controls looks like a DRB II scanner. )

Nope. I baked it in the garage. Turned the heater up to 82 frickin degrees!!!

My wife would kill me if I put that in the oven. Aside from the fact a 4.0 valve cover won't fit. If she knew how many times I washed my shop rags in her washer and dried them in her dryer when she wasn't home, she'd tar and feather me.

OH... I thought when I suggested you use a section of stove pipe you said it would fit in your oven. Waz a bit puzzled, who has a 22 + inch oven? Man that Rambler is gonna scream! (Kidding!)

So I can have the ahead of time. Do you guys know the size and threads of the bell housing bolts? Need them to mount the engine to the stand.

3/8-16 . Length is dependent on your engine stand.

I think I'm going to do the AMC blue metallic with black pans, intake and pulley brackets. What do you guys think?

Hey, when you go to pull the engine, remove the 2 top bell housing bolts first. They're E12s and you need to get them before any others.

Just the 12 point socket? Standard, metric? I had to go out and buy metric wrenches to do this job.

Just went out and looked. Looks like a pain in the ***. Need to go buy a wrench. Thanks for the heads up Cruiser. Doing this in my apartment complex parking lot. So I need to be fast and efficient as to avoid the landlord.

Got me. All bet's are off! 11=7/16 14=9/16 ???? then 19= 3/4. Anyway those are the ones I commonly cross. Nothing replaces a 13, 15 or 18, that you might run into.

Some cheap deals don't have that 5/32 for that nut that might get snuck in, but do have a six point 8. IIRC.
