Sealed systems are just fine as long as you know how to deal with them. Make sure all of your hose clamps are nice and tight too before you go and buy a new bottle.

Thank you. I will try a new tank and cap. I replaced all hoses, heater core and recently the radiator. I need heat with outside temps at -40. Any suggestions on replacing radiator with an open system, please advise. I had one but not enough space for filler because of air filter.
You can convert the closed system to open without replacing your radiator by using the fill cap from a 4.7 durango or dakota, cutting it into your upper hose, and replace your bottle with an MJ overflow tank or any that fit. Then cap off or eliminate the T'ed lines in the heater core.
