88 cluster in 94

88 cluster in 94
I have an 88 that I wrecked. Can I swap that cluster with the tach into my 94? I searched and saw that the 88 speedo was cable and the 94 was electric. True? If so does that mean I can't use it? If I can use it can I swap the oil and coolant sensor from the 88 to the 94?

No you can't use it because of the speedo, It would be easier for you just to go to the junkyard and pickup a cluster from a 91 to 95. I only paid 10 bucks for mine, then sell your 88s on craigslist, someones always looking clusters.

hey, If you do decide to sell that 88 cluster. I would be interested.. my fuel isn't working on mine...I hit up the pullapart but there was no 87, or 88 xj's there..all 91 up..
