Talking 8.25 question

hey i have a Chrysler 8.25 open diff and i was wondering if they made it in a LSD, and if so is it possible to simply take the LSD gear set out of the diff and put it in my open diff, or do i have to do a full rear end swap?

they do make an LSD version. it is found in the 2wd jeeps most of the time. but the factory LSD is not worth it. Look into a aussie locker. cheap (under 300) and use the same carrier

haha sorry dana 30, but is it best to have one for the rear or front, does it matter with the front because there is no unlocking the hubs, so would that effect driving it on pavement

with an auto locker you will not notice it in the front as much as you would think. Again it depends on what YOU would prefer
