Default Replacing the Tstat

I tried to do a bit of searching, but couldn't find what i was looking for. My jeep is running a bit cold, the mileage went from 180 miles a tank, down to about 160 since the start of the winter. So my question is, what t-stat brand would be best? I want a 195 of course. Also, i have been told after putting on the gasket and sealer, I need to let it cure/set for half a day before driving it again?

Do I really need to let it set, or can I switch and go within a couple hours? I plan on doing my oil, rotate my tires, clean my IAC, and maybe put in an after market air filter at the same time.

Thanks

Super stat and yes the longer you let it set the less chance of leaking. Coach

Anything other than SuperStat? No one in my city sells them, I really don't want to 2 petal it 30 mins away with my other issue lol

I always try and use the RTV that is specifically made for anti-freeze, never ever had any issues when I use that, I have had leaks using regular RTV. I'm very **** about proper prep. You can use napa or autozone and it would be ok but the super stat is definately the best. I'd recommend getting one that fails open. You could also order one off the internet, couple days and it's there. Coach.
