Default 703 swap problems

I ordered some 703 injectors for my 98 xj and after Installing them my jeep seems to have some power loss. I reset the computer and have put around 200 miles on it with no change. I also did platinum plugs. I was wondering if it is possibly the plugs or if this is normal?

Double check the injector wiring. You can also swap the old injectors back in & see it it fixes it. If so, you got a dirty or defective injector(s). Or if you installed the plugs at the same time as the injectors you may have crossed the wires.

Unfortunately like a ******* I got rid of the old injectors. As for the spark plugs I did them one at a time so I'm sure I didn't swap the wires. As for the injector wires I can try that. It does idle fine and doesn't seem to be missing. Just some power loss.

It might just be internet BS, but I've seen bad reports on the platinum. I might try the plugs you had or Champion Copper. Also look good for what you might have bumped doing the swap.

I'll try the copper plugs today. That's what I had in before the platinum ones. Thanks for the help I'll update with the results

Pull one injector plug at a time & see if you notice that it runs differently. That would indicate a bad injector, wire or plug.
Good luck.

Well I swapped out the platinum plugs for champion copper plugs. I must say what a huge difference. I can't believe what a difference it made. All the power came back and I can actually see a improvement with the 703 injectors. I thought the platinum plugs would be better but I guess not. Thanks for the help

Platinum is just more durable, but it conducts much worse. Copper is the best conductor but least durable. Iridium conducts better than platinum and is the most durable, but still conducts significantly worse than copper. Unless you have a very specific goal in mind and know exactly what you're doing, stick with the correct copper plugs.
