Hey everyone I thought I would share my experience with the popular 4 hole Injector upgrade. I'm still fairly new to working on my cherokee so maybe this will help someone who is also new to XJs. I am sometimes nervous about working on my jeep because I do rely on it for work and don't wanna mess something up and not be able to commute. But after weeks and weeks of watching videos and reading threads about it and finally purchased a set of 784's from a member on here. (Shout out to jch7399 for the primo injectors, they looked very clean.) One Saturday afternoon I decided I was going to install them. I won't really make this a "how to" thread because there are much better threads out there for that.I'm just trying to share my experience and pass on some tips for other new jeepers. The fuel rail will be a bit tough to pull off, the old injectors won't wanna come out so easily either. I will say that twisting motions of the injectors were key for me getting the old ones out aswell as the new ones in. If you try to apply direct downward pressure the o ring can bulge on a side and split. (Ask me how I know) so apply a safe amount of silicone grease and use a gentle twisting motion and take your time. Check for leaks before buttoning everything up and don't forget to reset your ECU. You can do that by turning your ignition to the "ON" position but do not start it. Turn your headlights on for 10 seconds then turn them off. Turn your ignition "OFF" then start your jeep. This will put your ECU into learning mode and will adapt to the new Injectors over the next 50 start ups. Overall the swap is pretty straight forward. You might scrape your knuckles but the it's worth it. Instantly I noticed a faster start up , much smoother idle and better throttle response. I'll include some random pics just because. Cheers everyone
