What still confuses me is that the motor he put in his Jeep has a knock sensor and they haven't used a knock sensor since they stopped making Renix Cherokees.

i think were confused he has an 95 xj ho truck hes putting in a gc non ho motor from 96 there no renix in the pic he never said that

there are two automatic 87 to 90 and 91 to 2000 for automatic

so its ended up being detonation.. timing fuel air not in sync = knock

I know that but he did say that it had a knock sensor and 96 GC's don't have knock sensors either.
