Default 35s on this axle?

im looking into replacing my weak dana 35. I can get a ford 9 in with standard 35 spline axles pretty reasonable. will the 9" with those axles and a full spool hold 35s?

It will easily hold them. What you need to worry about is width of the 9". Are you doing a front axle swap too?

The D30 will holds 35s with those upgrades. But what vehicle are you going to get the 9" out of?

ok, just as long as your rear tire dont stick out 5" past your fronts lol. You should be good with that setup. What gears are you planning on running?

yea ive done alot of research and that seams to be the best combo for the money and all. prob gonna run 4.88s. might go with 5.29s tho. i hardly ever drive it and if i do its only a few miles. i always trailer it when im going wheeling

If my rig was a trail only rig I would go with 5.29s, but I'm not sure if there are 5.29s for the d30.

4.88 are the lowest for the 30. A 9 inch with 35 spline shafts (stock is 28 and 31) is basically as strong as a Dana 60.
