Default 3 different wires with same results.

So i tried 3 different brand plug wires, specifically the middle one on the cap that goes into the ignition coil. No matter the brand i use somehow the middle plug magically pops off randomly despite being snug and clicking into place. i did NOT lube the boot and everything looks all hunky dory in terms of the cap post and boot and inside said boot. im just stumped on why its this middle plug that keeps popping off just enough to not have spark, but once i click it back down im back in business. I have never heard of this annoying issue before.

I have, but it involved blowing the cap off when they had spring clips. 57 Ford had a fuel pump leak into the oil pan. Fuel vapors traveled up the distributor shaft and blew the cap off. 3 times in one night! Oil smelled strongly of fuel, replaced pump.
