Exclamation HELP

Help I just cleaned my distributor and plugs and plug wires and now the thing will not start and it is my dd and the only vehicle i got!!!!

In my opinion I would think it was possible that the connections were being held only when they were dirty.
Thats just my amateur opinion, not positive.
Personally I would have just got new spark plug wires.

Im broke just discovered it is backfiring through the intake BAD right?

check the resistance on the wires, cap, and rotor, you could have caused a break in continuity

also make sure that you put all the wires back on their proper place on the cap

alexanderthegreatsbweep had a good point, its possible that you "opened" up one of the connectors on the plug wires, check to see if they are making contact and "clicking" into place

I checked they are all making good connections but how does this explain the backfiring through the intake

Is it possible that you put the distributor in fliped 180 degrees. If you could that would f everything.

I think less than half of parts store guys know what they are talking about

No that would not cause backfiring through the intake

I agree with Ninja Falco, either your cap is on wrong, you installed your rotor incorrectly, or the plug wires are incorrectly installed

My money is on the wires

this has happened to me before, so I always paint the number on the wire,and/or put a label on it, and mark the #1 post on the cap
