pmondo, looking sharp! After seeing the thread about them I looked into them, but my tire shop doesn't have a supplier for the brand.
Usually, 235s don't have any problems rubbing on a stock Jeep. Even when I first got my Jeep and the rear was sagging in need of new springs, it didn't rub on 235s (BFG AT KOs).

Thanks guys. I like them so far, no rubbing.
Discount tire direct is having a labor day rebate sale. I got them for $349 to my door, that's after the $75 rebate gets sent in.

Thanks for encouragement...
Your Jeep looks exactly like mine. Same stock, same year, and even same color -- and I am about to go from stock 225 75 15 to 235s, so thanks for posting. I was worried about rubbing with larger tires but apparently no problem. Heard good about Falkens but about to buy Cooper ATVs in 235s. Regards,

Old fart with a wrench
I have 235/75R15 Cooper AT3s on my 2000 on 8" Black Rock wheels with 4.5 backspacing and I get no rubbing at all. The tires are just under the flares. Barely.

Can you report on the pro and cons ?
on the road, at highway speed ?
mpg? Noise ? Handling ?
thanks
am I wrong if I say 225/75R15 will be just a tad smaller.
I am interested by an inbetween look.

Take a good look at the Kumho AT51s. One of our old timers here says they are the best kept secret in Jeeping. I put some on the family van (obviously not ATs!) and I am very impressed.
