Sometimes it goes away completely for months, now its back. My code reader shot the codes for random misfire. From what I gather it could be caused by a dirty throttle body, bad plugs, coils. And everything in between down to a soiled battery contact. Any advise on where to start?

Not sure if it is the same problem I had because from what I hear it can be a lot of things. But I used some throttle body cleaner and cleaned it up while it was turned off on a warm day after that I started it and sprayed some while it was running and revved it a little bit for awhile kind of intermittently spraying and revving but that seemed to fix my problem. Like I said though from what I hear that can be a lot of different things. Spark plugs, wires, injectors, throttle body, rotor/cap, and thats really all I can think of at the moment.

I've had the same problem for the last few months. Thinking about swapping out injectors first since I've already done a tune-up...

Injectors aren't too bad to swap out but can be time consuming.

Always start with new plugs for this. The 00-01 like the NGK plug with the distributorless ignition. Gapped to .035

Then see where you are at.

Simple stuff first. Always.
