Default 1999 Issues

I have three issues that I am currently having with my cherokee:
1-when I am pumping fuel, it leaks, not a little but a lot. I've inspected the tank and that isn't the issue. What else could it be?
2-I have a hole in my "evac" system-what could that be?
3-My air conditioning doesn't work; what are the typical problems?

do you think that problems 2 and 3 related?

anyone else have similar issues and what was the cost-if ya can remember?!

thanks in advance!

Depending on what you mean by AC doesn't work, all three could be the related, need more info.

Fueling issue could be plugged tank vent. Where is the hole in tne Evap system?

Does the ac compressor turn on, is the ac clutch engaging when you turn the ac on? Could be low freon or bad pressure switch or blown relay or fuses.

If you don't know where the hole is how do you know you have a hole?

was told that there was a hole in the ecap system by having the "check engine light" read

number one and two are related. Evap system pressurizes the whole fuel system a little. If there is a fuel leak, or pressure leak it will show up as a evap leak

So the AC is fixed, the problem with it is an electrical wire. It was somehow cut. The AC works, along with the defrost, the 'hole' in the evap was detected and corrected (apparently nothing was wrong) and the ac has been charged with 9 ounces of freon. After they finished that, they took off the the gas tank and had to stop due it being closing time. So hopefully tomorrow I will know what the issue with that is. I am hoping it is a seal. and not the pump.

I also just realized that my cruise doesn't work, oh boy....
any one have that issue?

other than that, its an awesome vehicle!

my cruise doesn't work. i hate not it. it doesn't work though because this is a base model with no cruise control anyways. i am going to have ot retrofit it because it is to far to drive from my town to any other town by holding hte gas yourself. its about 2 to 2.5 hours to the other large towns around here
