Default 1 speed windshield wiper

So I've been getting this thing in shape and up to par to get inspected to be street legal. Having an issue with my windshield wipers though. It will only go one speed. No high, low, or intermittent. I turn it all the way to low or high, but still only goes low. Any idea what might be the issue?

Pull wiper delay and plug the connectors together see if all speeds work.

Yes.

It's that squarish block module held on by velcro under the dash by your left knee.

I will do that as soon as I get home. What is that unit for if it will work without it?

they just won't turn on till i hit the low constant, then it is the same on high. will stop where its at as soon as i get it back to intermittent settings. then of course goes back back to the base when i turn off.

The actual wiper switch is in the column. Go look at the plugs and wiring under/around the column.

Test plug at motor to see if you getting current at it when wipers are on high. If yes replace motor if not check switch plug under dash. Ill bet its motor dont really hear renix wiper switch in coloumn going out.
