Default 01 Sway Bar Size

Am looking to replace my sway bar bushings and not sure what size I need. I read that 26mm is common but that I also could need 28mm. Does anyone know off the top of their head? Thanks

^This. There seems to be no particular chart or logic you can follow to determine the correct size for these (its the only thing on the XJ that I am aware of like this). No one on the 'net will be able to tell you what the right size is for your jeep (not with any certainty anyway).

Thanks. Guess I'll head to sears and add a set of calipers to the tool list

I'm all about adding to the tool collection, but if you are in a pinch you can use an adjustable crescent wrench and a tape measure to get what you need in the short term.

Or slide open-end metric wrenches over it.
