00 XJ with Broken Valve Spring and Bent Push Rod

While I agree with GreaseMonkey17 just don't automatically think it is a scam. I did not want a PayPal account. Managed to get away with it for the longest time. I am always cruising Craigslist doing nationwide searches looking for those harder to find parts. Options that my '00 did not come with that I want. I would contact the people. Offer to send a US Postal Service Money Order. Tell them when they get it to deposit it. Once they are sure that everything is on the up and up send me my parts.
This worked out well. I scored Infinity Tweeters in great shape for $40 shipped to New England from St. Louis. The factory running boards I have on my Jeep for $75 delivered to me from PA. That is kind of a weird story. Would have been a 600 mile round trip. Wanted them but did not want to drive the 600 miles. Really just worried about the Jeep even though I probably did not have to. The guy mentioned that he did contract work in Rome NY. One of the customers of the auto parts store I work at is doing contract work in my area but out of Rome NY. He said if the guy could get them to Rome NY he would bring them down to me. $75 and a 30 pack of Bud Light later I had running boards. Figured had to hit my customer off. And for the record I did not cheap out on the beer. It is what they drink. LOL. In perfect shape with the exception they were green and my Jeep is black. Other things include a '98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 tire cover for $30 shipped from CO. In perfect shape. I mean like taken off on day one and put in a closet. The front rubber shield. A Mopar one. Brand new. $35 shipped from NM.
I finally had to brake down and establish a PayPal account to buy something on Ebay that I really wanted. Only payment the seller would accept.
My point being is that I am sure there are tons of scammers out there my experience has been that there are plenty of honest people too.

I got mine from the original owner her dad (a friend of mine) ordered it for her , I guess he figured she didn't need them it was garage kept until about 4 years ago, That's why i'm having to repaint the roof & hood they left it sitting out when the head cracked he bought a tupy head and never checked the lifters or cam both were shot. Here's my build thread i haven't been working on it lately it's winter and I'm working on my Harley Project. While I'm saving money for the suspension.

So did it sell
Cute pup, so did you sell the XJ. I cleaned sanded primed and painted everything when I rebuilt the engine, Also every nut and bolt , yes all of them I believe in doing it right the first time so there is no second time.
