Well as some of you may know I've been planning a trip to Grayling with Jay (MedicJayCook) and our 2 boys. We leave tomorrow (Tuesday August 18th). Any ways we needed a small shack down run seeing as his rig is freshly lifted and mine just had the front end gone through.

So here's a few pics of that little shack down run/test and the report.













And now the carnage reports. Yess there was carnage.
Me:
Exhaust fell off(seems to happen on every shack down run)

Jay:
Broken front drive shaft (the CV joint)
Front tow point broke off
Grill Guard and bumper pulled off
1 head light/marker light
1 passenger side fender

Well, at least you found the weak points. Now the upgrades to stronger parts begins.

 

Yep that's for sure.

His shaft just didn't like that V8 in low range..

Yes they are. Work rather well for the price..

 

gotta say i agree, cant beat em for the price. harbor freight is one of my favorite places lol

 

good to hear there a good product i was planing on buying 6 in a couple weeks (2 for the bumper 4 for the roof)
