I have mostly Skyjacker equipment but my friend has a 4.5in RC lift on his 96 2dr and he is not impressed. Shock bushings went out in less than a year and he is afraid to install the shackle relocater brackets he has because he's not heard good things about it. Not sure they have the durability he wants.

They have since changed the material they use in the bushings.. Just putting that out there. The bushings in the 3inch kit I bought a few years back were terrible. I bought another kit recently and it's a big improvement.

X2 I wouldn't have bought a second kit if I didn't think they would step up and fix the bushing issues. So far I'm really liking the new shocks too everything is nice and tight. Last time around I could hear the upper shock bushings after a couple weeks. So i'm impressed. I always suggest rc to friends.

My brother and I put one on his zj. Fit 31's with ease he could have Definelty tossed 33's on there. He's still happy with the kit no complaints

has anyone considered trying to get them to send a 3" leaf pack with a set of relocation brackets instead of 4.5" leaves?

from what i have read it should deliver close to the same height .should flex better with less arc to the leaves and gets away from the short leaf problem. not that i have tryed it but maybe someone else has or can give me a reason not to go that way?

Here's my 98 XJ with your series II 3" lift the same day I installed it last year. I still love it. I just ordered new brake lines from RC and sway bar disconnects. I'd love to see RC sell more XJ stuff.

If they are able to send out a 4.5 lift minus the full leaf packs (someone else chime in if you know) get the RE 3.5 packs and a one inch shackle, much better
