I just say I don't recommend RCs product based off of (ironically enough) this thread. In the end, you can't control what I do. As long as I see a thread titled "need cheap lift" or something of the sort, my response will always be that you would be better off running zone than RC due to x,y,z.

This is my personal experience. The lift flexed well and even after it "settled" it was still bigger then expected. I wasnt happy with how stiff it was though made for a bouncy ride and my girlfriend being "gifted" the way she is would almost get a black eye riding in the jeep. I wasnt pleased with the machining of the control arms could have done a better job cleaning the threads and that tool to put them together is useless it broke and was a pos i ended up fabbing up my own little do dad (now the tool issue has been fixed since i purchased my lift) i didnt get the right shocks that i ordered didnt realize till it was far to late. On the plus side the customer service was fantastic ive never been treated so well when i needed new control arms because of the crappy threads and them cross threading every time no matter what we did they were sent to me right after i got off the phone and i got them the next day. Will i run their lifts in the future? Maybe but i do want to test out what else is out their.
Was it a quality product? Eh could have been better but it did what it was supposed to and for the price/customer service it would be dumb not to go with their product for a beginner
All in all id give them a 7.5 out of 10 mostly due to how well i was treated. Now me giving that rating is pretty much useless as thats the only lift ive used but i have installed their lifts on 3 other jeeps and one of them was with newer redesigned parts

Please guys no fighting, also I've been wheeling on my 4.5 x-flex kit for about a year and a half, I've had 2 problems with my kit,

Problem one one of my shocks was missing a bushing, there was one here the next day, free and clear, with stickers

Problem 2
Leaf springs, there working on them and something tells me when fixed, they will be takeing a loss just to help us, to make sure were happy with them and the kit.

I'll be buying a long arm kit and maybe a set of shackles... Not sure... Also I recommend rc to anyone looking for a kit they can wheel and still have $$ for gas to get to the trail,

This is there longarm kit and the only issue was the rear leafs. Other then that u get your bang for your buck

Had the same issue... Bushings worn out within 2 months... I guess you get what you pay for.

I got mine lest Dec and 5 wheeling trips and a lot of poser flex shots, I check them monthly, just under a year, the only thing bad is my trans lol (4.5 x flex)

^This IS the type of review members should be willing to give to any vendor here. Both the positives and a few negatives (if any) of their products. Not bash or bad mouth because you had a little trouble. When a vendor recieves responses like this, it gives them a good idea on future tweaks/improvements to their products.

For example, I have a set of the RC CAD brackets. I personally like the design and build of these. My only suggestion for improvement is the self tappers that hold the brace to the unibody rail. They have a tendency to rip out under constant flex. I'd suggest our fix/upgrade which is to drill a hole/slot just large enough to fit a wrench with a nut in there to bolt the bracket to the unibody. Thanks.

Not sure on how a lot of items like what I ordered rakes to come in but I'm hoping everything is ok as far as the storm Sandy goes and that didn't effect my shipment!

I have a buddy that told me about those drill bits. I haven't looked for them but my grandpa has a bunch of parts. If not I know a few people at machine shops or the high school shop teachers. Maybe ill find a drill bit somewhere!!
