sometimes manufacturers use self locking nuts with teflon material inside, may be they think that teflon could go bad and it couldnt lock nut anymore when you install once more. actually threadlock works

 

today i found some time to adjust steering wheel. it was offcenter by half inches. i rotated coupler for half rotation. it worked. thank you for information once more.

 

The info on this forum is invaluable, joined recently and have learnt so much, going to straighten the steering wheel after drop pan hard bracket install.
