Correct. It keeps the vehicle from having too much body roll around corners.

Correct it keeps the axle centered under the Jeep. Track arm...same thing??

Basically...it holds the axle in place. The lower control arm works with the upper control arm to keep your wheel in alignment in all positions, and allows the up and down motion of the axle. Control arms = suspension arms

nice!

so:
if i want to replace bushings on U shapes bar, i need to search for sway bar or stabilizer bar. will it there to stabilize attitude of car on road? or during turns?

or

if i need track bar bushings it is simply track bar/arm bushings? seller has a listing for grandcherokee ZJ trackARM bushing, it is for 1 pcs of pushing. please see this link:

You'd want stabilizer end link bushings and stabilizer bar bushings (the bar bushings come in sizes for different thickness bars, the thickness being measured in mm).

The track bar bushings are hard to install if they're one piece. For that you might want to use a 2 piece poly bushing.

you need:

"sway bar to frame bushing" x2 - you will need to know what diameter sway bar you have.

"track bar bushing" x2 - for front suspension

I would NOT trust that ebay ad - doesn't even look right. Get the parts from an auto parts store that knows what they are doing. At least that was you can return the part if it's wrong.

for track bar bushings i think DIY approach will not work. I called them for a mopar branded track bar, it will cost me USD 130 here. I was thinking to order two bushings for track bar.

car feels weird when doing slow turns on a bumpy surfaces. it is like sliding (at back) then quickly it has grip on surface.

i will replace all bushings one by one.

Now I'm confused

Are we talking about front or rear suspension (sliding at back)?

Maybe you have a LSD in the rear that is failing?

Yes. 15mm bolts, IIRC. Lossen and turn according to which way the wheel needs to go. Might take a couple trys to get it dead center but its really easy to adjust.

Sorry...not Paco, but

You're correct

I was also told that when you're done making adjustments, line up the slice in the collar and the open place on the clamps, and then tighten it down.

Why...are the nuts turned at a weird angle now, or are you talking about when you re-tighten it?
