daymn found this wayyyy back on the 12th page

i guess its time for an update

been working on a cowl snorkel mod

got this from menards $2.00

kids please clean up after your self's

bend in to a weird shape

make sure it fits kinda sorta good

this is were you run the tube

if you have a hole saw great use that

if your ghetto do it my way

seal up this hole in your air box

and where your new intake tube sits you will need to cut a hole and seal it off nicely, i didnt take that pic

it will look something like this

but i didnt take pics of it finished, there are deffently cleaner ways to do this to make it look factory or something but not for 2 bucks

you will get a little hissing noise after this is done, the way i fixed it was turning that little **** on the radio

Does the hood smash it down any? Looks like a good idea. I'd like to see a couple finished shots.

well i gots me the hillbilly hood scoop (hood spacers) so its not touching at all but i suppose it would touch a bit if you didn't have the spacers i have seen some people smack the braces down a little bit so it fits but how do feel about hitting the under side of the hood with a hammer

I had a buddy grab a gastank skid from the junk yard while he was there pre 97 though they charged him 5 bucks i gave him a 10 cause he brought it to me
gota modify it to work

in this pic you see were it bends up

you gota bend that almost straight
but first and a crappy pic you got to break this weld and bend thises little ears out straight

for another way to do this check this wright up
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/pre...st-96-a-22399/

got the skid plate on all but 2 bolts that i must have droped and lost taking the hitch off, then i got 2 new bolt but lack of free time and motivation has stoped me from putting them on i will get some pics when i do it

also picked up a highlift jack from a member on NAXJA, i sold him some ford ranger wheels a while ago and he gave me the jack in trade for some center caps for the wheels so it cost me about 29 bucks he said he only used it about 3 times, while i was there he noticed a front diff skid that he didnt want any more cause he was getting a whole cover picked that up for 10 bucks its a rustys model kinda like this http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...egory_Code=DIF but must be the older model, i thought they were both good deals

got a short list of work to do all maintenance

Oil change
Tire rotation
Front and Rear pinion seals
Change Axel fluid
Trans filter and fluid change
Rear brakes are original at 165k
Front brakes are getting there
Repaint my front bumper its staring to rust
