I am pretty sure somebody came up with the same idea before: my 35s kept damaging my windshield wiper reservoir and made it crack and leak. So I went ahead and chopped a small part of it below the lowest pump and jbwelded a small hard piece of plastic. Hopefully no leak. And my tires should never touch it anymore.

I cracked my reservoir before I got some longer bump stops. I used some plastic weld stuff and cracked it again. So I need to do it again. Lost some of the plastic so I will need to build it up. the JB weld maybe used now.

Went from 5.5" RE's to 6.5" Claytons coils and barely noticed a difference in height. My XJ's been leaning to one side and I thought that was the issue, it wasn't. Installed some RC shackle relocation brackets and longer shackles and now I'm pretty sure it's the leafs. Sent Rubicon Express an email with pictures to see if they'll warranty them.

RE springs typically run taller than advertised.

I can confirm this, My RE 3.5 lift was more like a 4.5 lift.

Finally found my factory driver door window switch, took 20 minutes to disassemble, re-solder and reassemble. Will swap it in soon weather allowing. Went out to the Jeep this afternoon and no power locks. I could hear the relay click but no lock cycle. So now I get to pull the passenger side switch apart too.

That was my problem with the locks.
They would work like 98% of the time.
When the didn't I would hear a click come from the passenger side front door.
I had some used switches lying around, threw one in, and seems to be fine ever since so......

I went to go to work later that day and they're working again. Obviously somethings wacky in the passenger switch. First time this has happened so I'll pull the switch when I get the chance.

Are you sure the door wiring through the accordion is intact?

My ground wire in the drivers loom was almost all the way broken. Fixed that and all the problems were solved.

3-link front 6.5” IROR lift with a VW MTDI swap. Swapped from the compound turbos to just a single top mount and made the exhaust dump out of the fender well instead of the hood stack that we ran previously
