Why thank you Sir for the kind hospitality! I reckon I do like Prescott and would be fine with visiting if need be.

Absolutely. Whether it is the end of the World as we know it or a weekend BBQ, food, guns and ammo make everything better.

My latest idea, since we are soon to be over 100 degrees for 3+ months here in AZ, is to build a wall inside my Jeep. You are thinking "What in the world is he talking about?" Nobody rides in my Jeep but me so the back is just for stuff. So I am going to build, either out of steel or plywood, with a plexiglass window, a dividing wall right behind the front seats. This wall will be sealed to the sides and roof. The purpose? My air conditioning will have a MUCH smaller volume of air to try to cool off. With only the front seat area getting cooled it should cool down much quicker. And of course I will make it so that if I decide I don't like it I can remove it and put the interior back the way it is now.

Side note: ATTN Bugout... if engineered correctly and executed properly, a wall like this (out of steel) could also be a major STRUCTURAL component, supporting the roof in a roll over. Food for thought.

btw... on another note... my XJ has been ticking me off a bit more than usual lately. Makes it difficult to troubleshoot as it's a DD right now. So don't have the time to tear into it or know exactly where to start looking. So many places that the issue could be coming from. GRRRR.

I hear ya. For me it's double frustrating because I am used to having a garage and driveway. But now I live in an apartment where they forbid working on vehicles. Ugh...

Amen brother... I'm in the same situation right now up North here. I even had a house when I was overseas... I can get away with doing normal maintenance like an oil change if I don't make a mess (which isn't hard) lol... but tearing anything apart... forget it, plus no access to what I used to have with a garage. Then on top of it, the XJ is my DD right now. Only other thing I have is my motorcycle which I keep covered, but that's only helpful on good weather days if the XJ decides to have it's time of the month. So not sure what I'm going to do yet. If she was a 2nd vehicle and didn't have to be my DD it would be so much easier...but since I'm not rolling in a ginormous pile of cash, that's not a viable option.

It was/is super windy today. Didn't get any off-roading in but did stop by the Goldfield Ghost Town that is near my place. Couple pics and a video.

The weather is absolutely perfect today so I am headed to the Phoenix Zoo. Soon it will be too hot to go there until after the summer.
