I have 33s on mine. I got a spare last Friday and threw it in the back. Saturday I made this carrier. It plugs into the receiver. That wedge on the back cinches down by a 1/2-13 bolt, keeping it from rocking and making noise. Drove to work all week with it up there, doesn't block the rearview too bad. Worth the $7 it cost me to make, had to buy the license plate light and hitch pin. I can't claim the ideas for the design though, I surfed the web for a couple hours and blended the best of the designs I saw out there.

If its a daily driver you could get away not having a spare,A lot of new cars on the road do not come with a spare tire or jack anymore. They come with a air compressor and a can of fix a flat type stuff.
That fix a flat is corrosive to aluminum wheels. I used to work at a scrap yard, saw the inside of more than one wheel flaking away with that crap in the wheel.
