Scored this baby for 650$ everything works including the rear wiper, one owner, 1994 Laredo. Only issue is I need to replace floorboards and rockers and it's still stock soooo. But in the meantime my zj is getting one tons and the new motor is going in.

 

Laredo trim ended in 1992.

My 1991 XJ had 'Laredo' on side of vehicle, in place of 'Sport' or 'Classic'.

 

Looks like an SE. Titles can say all sorts of weird crap. Mine was titled as a 1997 Jeep Chrokeese Sport. It's neither a "Chrokeese" nor a Sport. It is, in fact, a Cherokee SE which helps to explain where that mutation of a typo came from, but the Sport thing is completely undeserved. I've since had that corrected. Most people don't even know the difference between a ZJ and an XJ thinking that Cherokees and Grand Cherokees are the same model, and I've often seen people thinking that "Laredo" is part of the name instead of a trim package.

Laredos would have a slightly fancier interior, almost certainly would have chrome grill/handles/mirrors, a full gauge dash, and be 1992 or older.

In the end, an XJ by any other name is still a great vehicle.

 

The side of mine just says "ROKEE" . Must be some crazy rare edition right? Haha

 

 

Haha nice to have it sorted out, might have some brand new dealership shocks up for sale soon to whoever wants em im ordering my lift kit in the next month and a half. so their up for grabs.
