Rear hatch weatherstrip replacement
Skill level: VERY EASY
The old weatherstripping simply pulls off the jeep it is not secured with any adhesive.
It uses a ribbed channel to "bite" the sheet metal.
Had to re-run a couple of wires I had previously ran as you see over the seal.
I know have them routed through the access panel behind the taillight.
Old seal is showing its age.
Another area where some wiring had been "temporarily" ran over the seal, it also has been rerouted to go through the body.
This is the main area where I was getting water penetration.
Underneath the weatherstripping it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Now the hatch shuts tighter and hopefully no more leaks.

the factory position of the alternator is pretty low and so when you drive the deeper waters or mud it can short circuit or destroy it. I did this modification a few months ago after I drowned my alternator. I'm very happy with it. Only bad thing is that you won't have A/C anymore. It moves the alternator almost a foot higher. Here's a pic of mine.
Well if the weather holds out for tomorrow I will be attempting to finish my alternator relocation.
Will end up doing it the same way 93XJeeper did his mod.
It just seems to be less hassle and just works better, I mean it is designed to fit the alternator already.

I've got a video if u want to see it. Sound quality isn't great but here it is.
Mounting up my cooling fans to my aluminum fan shroud.
Laid out the fans and marked all the mounting locations using a center punch. Drilled all the holes using a 1/8" bit, then a 1/4" bit.
Mounted the fans using 1/4" bolts 3/4" length, lock washers and nuts.
Here's a radiator side view.

Where did you get the fan shroud? or how did you make it?
Looking to upgrade to all electric fans.
Also How did you wire yours up. Just to give me some ideas of what to do.
Thanks in advance - RW

Needed to replace my rear washer fluid pump and decided since I was going through the hassle of removing the fender lining, etc - I would just simply change both pumps at the same time.
The same part number/part is used for both the front and rear wipers. There is an adapter plug included to connect the pump to the stock connector for the lower pump. - It is unneeded for the upper pump.
New pump
After pulling back the plastic wheel well liner the old motor simply pops out of the reservoir.
I changed one pump at a time, so I avoided mixing up the positions, not sure if they matter.
The old pumps.
Installed the new pumps and both work awesome.

Really like your brackets for the shovel and ax. Did you make those or are they bought?
No I bought these from a seller on eBay

I originally thought they were made of aluminum since they are so lightweight, but have noticed that they are already starting to develop some surface rust. So I will be painting them in the next few days.
After rereading the eBay page they are made from 11 ga steel (shipped raw, lightly oiled)
Going to be getting a axe sheath to protect the blade.
