What is the best in dash CB and Audio Deck combination
I am looking for the best form and function CB and Audio deck that will have a retro 90’s look to it and fit into my 93’ XJ build
I'm heavily leaning toward the President series CB and Jensen audio decks
Here is my work in progress with the interior
I’m getting ready to install this wood dash, to help with where I’m going with the ascetic
But I am open to ideas, please share what you have done or what you think would work well and look good!

The antenna is more important than the radio in two way communication effectiveness. K40 and Wilson were the measured and tested best performers back in the day. They may still be in the top of the pack. Regardless of which antenna you chose mounting on the roof in the center of the vehicle gives the best transmit and reception in all directions.
Mounting on a corner gives best TX/RX out the opposite corner I.E. right rear bumper= stronger out left front corner and weaker every other direction.
Standing Wave Ratio matching or tuning the antennas physical length to match the frequency is important for performance and saving wear and tear or failure of your radios final driver transistors. It's easy and SWR meters are cheap.
