mounted my antenna a few months ago:




Finally bought a new CB and installed it today, still need to tune the antenna after my meter gets here next week:

I have my CB located in the same place in my ZJ, I had to move the antenna from the same place yours is do to I broke it off twice.(trees suck) Looks good though..

That was really the only place to mount the CB that I really liked and that was easy to mount and get the wires to. I had thought about mounting to my overhead console but I really didn't want to mess with the headliner.

i think you have that firestick wire mounted wrong? I have the same setup and teh directions said to put the wire underneath.

It can go either way. I didn't like the way it came off the bottom of the mount. Plus all the continuities check out.

I have broken about two or three antennas. So now I just use a magnetic mount antenna which is right in the center of my roof and it has better ears now than the prior firestik. For what it is worth.

It's a sticker that says stainless steel but it does look like Steelers sticker.

the steelers symbol is the symbol for steel from Pennsylvania
