Default Speedometer fault Xj 1999

Good evening Here are a few kilometers that the speedometer dropped,
the orange engine light is on, If you find it wise, I think first of all identify and test or change the speed sensor on the automatic gearbox.
The diagnosis with the computer did not make it possible to say if the failure is indeed on this sensor or downstream of the electrical system.

Maybe there is a fuse or a relay to check before disassembling the sensor?
Should the box be drained a little before unscrewing so as not to get an oil shower?
Finally, what is the sensor(s) to check?

I put you the photo of the box with colored circles to caption if you have any ideas of the location of the speed sensor?
The red circle ?

Thanks for answers

No fuse or relay. Park facing downhill if you can but no need to drain the fluid. It's the one in red...

Thanks Jim Malcolm !

Here is the sensor of the red circle!
It corresponds well to the description of the merchant site
There is a bit of play when pulling on the metal axle...

So, does anyone have an idea for a test? A sight and a multimeter perhaps?
