Default Radio, internal lights and fans

Sorry if this isn't okay to have. I've been liking around for a while and can't find much. A few weeks ago my wife was driving my 87 xj and the internal lights and radio stopped working. Now my electric fan and I think a few other things aren't working anymore. I have checked all fuses and even changed my ignition switch with no change in problems.

did you check fuses with a meter or just a visual? sometimes they look good but test bad.

as far as the e-fan goes, you can take 12 volts right from the battery and put it on the fan to see it it works. The fan can burn out.

I installed new fuses. And I'm not too worried about the fan, I was just saying it stopped working around the same time. I have checked all my fuses with a meter also

I would check your grounds--all of them. (battery, fuse box, alternator, and wherever else I'm not thinking of) and while you're at it check the positive connections too, but usually bad grounds cause strange problems.

I'm having the same exact issue in my 89 but I already checked all the grounds and fuses they are fine. However when I push the ignition key as if I am about to start it (but not far enough to turn on the starter) the radio and everything goes on. My ignition key cylinder or whatever it's called is pretty loose and I don't know if that could be a reason? Everything works fine in ACC position
