It worked (the pictures and your tool). I made the same thing using a couple large sockets.

I used sockets when I did the axle seals on the dana 30 but they wouldn't fit those for dana 44. So I had to use 2.5" pipe.

Gotcha. It was on the D30 I used the sockets. I haven't worked a D44. Please carry on, I'll be quiet.

I don't think I ever mentioned anywhere in this thread that I already had 33x12.50/15 tires already on aluminum 6 lug wheels. Bought the set for $100 over a year ago.

I really wanted a set of 33x10.50/15's but this will do. Eventually I ll trade them for what I want.

$100 for 33" tires and rims is a pretty good deal even if they are that 'weird' bolt pattern.
